Realism - many of the designs today don’t really look like a real wood fire. Many feature a molded mass with flame here and there. While innovative, it just doesn’t look real. The Inspiration Burner System has the look and feel of a real wood fire. Our logs were meticulously carved after hours and hours of studying a real wood fire. Each log is finally dressed to appear as one of Mother Nature’s originals. Can you tell the difference?

Big Flames, little cost….. At firegear Big Flames, little cost is our motto! We challenged our designers to create Big Flames while maintaining low Btu’s.

Why should the rising price of gas effect the consumer’s enjoyment of a big roaring fire? The Inspiration Burner System at 45,000 BTUH is energy efficient offering flames that compare to competitors more than twice the Btu value. We have been able to duplicate the flame height and look of competitor’s products using more than twice the Btu value.

With the Inspiration Burner System you can burn your fire twice as long as many of our competitor’s products or burn the same length of time and save up to ½ as much. It’s the sensible way to enjoy your fire and avoid the shock when the gas bill arrives. You might say we are economically friendly! Consumers will love the savings as well as the beauty and flame.

Hidden Controls – yet, user friendly. Our gas train has been completely hidden, yet our design allows manual flame from our disappearing control knob.

Gas and go! – By design, we are installer friendly. Our burner base and grate are attached in the box. Set the burner base, connect the gas, dress the burner, place the logs and light the pilot.

Innovation ……The Inspiration Burner System has been sculpted using a proprietary blend of materials to look like and burn like a true ember bed. Gas log ember beds have been historically manufactured from sheet metal, tube and a loose media (sand or vermiculite). At firegear we asked ourselves “Are we trying to build an appliance or create the look of a real fire?”

Traditionally gas log flame is in a straight line, generally one rear flame and one front flame. Because we have never seen a real wood fire with straight lines of flame we designed the Inspiration Burner System to burn like a real wood fire, random and from front to back.
